My husband Michal and I started Moringa Vinga together as a passion project turned small family business, driven by our passion for adaptogen-powered infusions. In September 2024, Michal passed away suddenly from an infection. Navigating this new life is challenging, to balance family and business without Michal, but I'm committed to continue our dream of bringing superfoods to you.
We started Moringa Vinga the same year we got married seven years ago. It was always us. It wasn’t simply about making our income - it was about us personally making a difference in people’s lives.
He was so passionate about our product, and he poured his heart and soul into every batch. We loved sharing stories of customers we met. Seven years later, the awe of people enjoying what we created never wore off. We had to learn when to switch from business partner mode to just being husband and wife - but we were always so very much both.
At the same time of grieving our business was still running but without Michal leading it. Soon employees reached out that they needed paychecks. Customer emails were piling up. We were running low on a blend.
Amazing people stepped in. Friends and family spent long days at our facility learning our bottling machine. Guys I had never met but Michal knew started to teach me the things he ran.
Our community has stepped in to support in beautiful ways and because of that, our business is strong. We are continuing to bottle the Moringa Vinga you know and love. You can still find us at markets until the season is over (and then we'll see you next year!). Online orders are being shipped all over the country.
Michal loved Jesus. He loved me and our boys, Ari and Ethan. He loved people, friends, families, and everyone he met. Part of our mission is continuing to contribute 15% of our profits to help fight malnourishment, locally and globally.
Thank you for ordering Moringa Vinga. Thank you for being part of one of his biggest joys. Thank you for supporting us and loving what we do!
Cheers to your health. Cheers to this community. Cheers to Michal!
With kindness, love & appreciation,
Rachael Kmita
